Thank you, Pastor Craig
This Sunday, May 6th, we celebrated a monumental day. Pastor Craig turned 50 years old this week, has served 10 years at Oak Ridge, and has given 25 years of his life to pastoral ministry. Our church rejoiced in the provision of God for his people. Every good and perfect gift comes from above, and it is evident that Pastor Craig is God's gift to ORBC perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
We honored our Pastor with several fun and encouraging moments throughout the day. One of those was a video. Click here or on the photo above to view it.
Dave and Christy Massa
In November of 2011 we began a search to call a couple to come to serve as Pastor of Teens & Music. We desired someone to provide a continuity to the ministry already established by Pastor Jon and Beth Kopp. We also desired a couple that would meet our criteria of qualifications to serve in the Gospel here at ORBC. I determined that it was critical that this couple would receive whole-hearted and excited approval from Pastor Jon, Pastor Bobby, myself, and our wives. I especially felt it necessary that the next couple would receive a whole-hearted approval from Pastor Jon and Beth. We sought meaningful references. In our consideration of many couples, the Pastoral staff and our wives felt more excitement about Dave & Christi Massa than any other couple we considered. We believe that they fit the criterion of experience, education, heart and personhood. I would really love for our church to extend a call to Dave and Christi to serve the Lord on our pastoral staff.

Announcement from the Kopps
Sunday morning, November 13th in our church service we rejoiced together with Jon and Beth Kopp. Pastor Jon and Beth believe that God is leading them into a church planting venture in Utah. We are excited for them, yet terribly sad that we do not get to keep them here at ORBC. They will remain here until they raise enough support to be sent out. We will want to do all we can to support them, encourage them and aid in preparing them. We are so very grateful for the tremendous blessing Jon and Beth have been to us. We are closer to God because of their ministry. We will never, never forget them.
We've posted the audio from Pastor Craig and Pastor Jon's announcement.

That's My King
Sunday night, October 30th our Lord's Super service centered around the theme of our King redeeming his enemies and seating them at his table. We looked ahead to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in the Millenial kingdom and sang Jesus, Thank You and Wonderful Merciful Savior to affirm our commitment to the One who though we "once were enemies, has now seated us at His table."
We also watched a video that captured the emotion and beautiy of our Savior's glory. Hope you can enjoy again the picture of our Savior.
Steve Saint Testimony Video
As a form of a personal testimony to go along with our Job series, we showed a portion of a message that Steve Saint preached at the 2005 Desiring God National Conference. He recalls vividly the days and events surrounding and following God's working in the Waorani of Ecuador.
We've posted the full message video and audio downloads after the break.
